CALLED to Papua New Guinea

Hello Friends! Since Teddy and I will be sharing our different perspectives through the blog while we are away next year...we thought it would be a good idea for me (Rachel) to have a turn posting something.  : )   Samaritan's Purse recently sent this AMAZING video about some of the work being done in Papua New Guinea.  Near the beginning of the video, you will see Kudjip Nazarene Hospital, where we will be working/living.   (You may want to have tissues nearby!) The days are passing quickly now... Only 45 days before we depart on August 26th!  Thanks be to God, we recently received the last bit of formal paperwork required for us to work in PNG for a year, so we are GOOD TO GO !  :-) After 3 long years of Pediatric training, we attended my Residency graduation in June. We're both still working through the summer, but it's great to have come through all these years of education (by God's grace alone, I assure you), and now see the fast approaching Light of God's work being prepared for us in PNG at the end of the proverbial tunnel.  We just can't wait!
