Dear Followers, Prayer Warriors, and Supporters,
We are under EIGHT WEEKS AWAY from our return trip to serve in Papua New Guinea (Wahoo!), and we wanted to write a brief update for those of you who have been praying and following our preparations.
First, we would like to extend our deepest thanks to so many of you who have financially partnered with us - we couldn't do this without you! It's always exciting for us to see who the Lord brings alongside to join forces for missionary work, and we can not WAIT to see how your investment grows Kingdom fruit!
We have also secured our travel visas and completed the pre-trip paperwork for our sending agency, World Medical Mission. Next up is the the purchase of flights, and we need you to join us in praying for optimal travel arrangements - seats together, less layover time, and no flight delays/cancellations!
Finally, we are praying for Divine appointments along the way, and for God to prepare our hearts for the work ahead. Thank you for your prayers!!!
OTHER UPDATES
Rachel and the kids have been flexing their missionary muscles regularly serving a Homeless Breakfast through our church WEAG.
We had the privilege of sharing about our missions work with Richmond Bible Church, and we are blessed to have their partnership in financial and prayer warrior support - praise the Lord!
Ted stepped into a Partner role with his busy Peds practice
PAHP. It's a blessing to be part of a team that supports missionary work!
Penniella, now 6 years old, and Solomon 4.5 years old, have discovered the joy of board games. This one is "Poop Bingo"...haha. (And yes, as usual Solomon is showing off his muscles.)
Ted had another successful hunting season, and we give thanks to God for the provision of delicious (and healthy) venison for the next year.
Funny picture of the family this Fall when we participated in a Turkey trot.
And we celebrated some birthdays - Ted's 40th, Pennie's 6th, and Rachel's 39th
Just look at these amazing helpers! Ted dropped a massive oak tree in the back yard, and everyone has been pitching in to help cut it up. The firewood has been primarily going to a needy family in the community who heat their home with a wood stove during the cold winter months.
That's all for now! :-) Keep praying for us friends.
